At the age of 20 in 1979 I started my career with the Jones Dealerships as a Technician. About a year later I moved into sales as a Salesperson for about four years. In 1985 I became the Finance Manager until I was promoted to GMC Sales Manager. I served in this position until 1989 when I became General Sales Manager, and in 1999 became the General Manager. In 2011, I took on the role of President of Operations. The combination of my career began in Junior High when I washed cars at a Ford dealership in Philadelphia plus attending an extracurricular automotive class at Vo-Tech school. I live in Hempfield with my wife, Pam, and have three daughters and six Grandchildren. My hobbies include boating, water skiing and spending time with my family.

I grew up in Columbia, PA and graduated from Columbia High School in 1995. In high school I played football, along with being captain on the Track and Field team. While at I Lebanon Valley College, I played football for four years and then graduated with a Business Degree in 1999. In March of 2001, I started my career at Jones Honda as a Sales Associate then moved to the Used Car Center in January of 2006. In May of 2010 I became the Business Manager for the Used Car Center. I have been married to my wonderful wife Mindy since 2007 and in 2010 my life changed with the birth of my beautiful daughter Piper. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing and fantasy football. My career at Jones Honda started in March of 2012. I am a Lancaster Native and spent most of my life living in the small town of Millersville. After graduating high school from Penn Manor, I attended Millersville University. I worked as a hardscaper for many years, building patios, walls, ponds, ect. In my free time I enjoy golfing, fishing, and still going out and playing basketball on my hometown courts! Before setting roots in Millersville, I spent some of my childhood growing up in both Phoenix and LA. After moving to Millersville, I graduated from Penn Manor in 2005. I joined the Jones Family in 2013, selling New Hondas and some time at Acura, before moving to the Used Car Department. I have 2 children and they are my best friends. We enjoy going to the beach, parks and down to the river as much as the weather allows. When not with them, I enjoy watching sports, playing basketball and singing… a lot! I started in sales at a very young age. I grew up in Key Largo, FL and lived in Orlando for 2 years prior to moving to Lancaster in 2004. I earned a Finance degree from the University of West Florida. Since 2002, I've worked in the consumer finance and home building industries in positions of sales and sales management. My wife Kim and I, along with our two boys Jackson and Parker, reside in Maytown. I am an avid sports fan, counting the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Browns as my favorite teams. My sons keep me pretty busy, but in my down time I can be found playing catch with the boys, fishing and just relaxing with family and friends. The family oriented management encourages us to focus on customer service in all aspects of the business. Every customer has their own unique situation and expectation, and meeting each one is the challenge and excitement that brings me to work every morning. It also helps to have a brand as amazing as Honda to represent! I am a Lancaster county native, and I have been with Jones since January of 2013. I spent three plus years in sales at our Acura store, and transitioned to our Honda store as Floor Manager in July of 2016. I am married with three children who are all active in school sports. We have a football/baseball player, and two soccer/softball players. My free time is spent on the sidelines of their sporting events, sneaking a quick trip to a local restaurant with the wife, and occasionally teeing it up on the golf course.

I must admit it was very difficult being a full time college student and working full time as an Acura Sales Associate but by the grace of God I managed. Hello my name is Jason Ness. I started my career here at Jones Family of Dealerships in 2008 in the Acura Sales Department. I was born and raised here in Lancaster and I graduated from Hempfield High School in 2002. A week later I was off to Boot Camp in Paris Island, SC. I spent four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. While enlisted I served 1 tour of 7 months over seas, and have been deployed numerous times within the US for National Security. I have been married to my high school sweet heart Christine since 2003 and we have one son together named Jaden. My wife is on the night watch as an EMT/Paramedic for Lancaster EMS. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family traveling, taking care of the “honey do list”, hitting the gym, riding the back roads on my motorcycle, out at the golf course with my son and hiking with the family along the many wooded trails and Rails to Trails in Lancaster. I also have participated in the National Firefighter Associations 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to help raise money for all the First Responders and family that have lost a loved one. I am a Veteran Advocate for 22 Kill. A veteran based organization to raise awareness to veteran suicide and mental health issues. I have a deep passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Baltimore Orioles and have tried to instill them with my son but he has crossed to the dark side and became a Philadelphia Eagles fan. I started at Jones at the end of my junior year of high school through the encouragement of my instructor in the automotive program at Mount Joy Vo Tech. He was acquainted with the Jones family and thought very highly of their operation. I was hired as an entry-level technician in the GM service department in June 1986. I continued working for Jones through the Co-op program during my senior year and was hired as a full-time technician after graduation from Elizabethtown high school and Mount Joy Vo Tech’s automotive program in June 1987. From 1987 – 1992 I took as many GM training classes as possible and also gained valuable experience through hands on work. Around 1992 I began assisting with shop foreman duties then in 1994 I became the working shop foreman. Around 2003 I became the Service Manager for Technical Operations for the GM service department. In October of 2011 there was an opening in our Honda Service Department for a Service Manager; I accepted this position and am striving to adapt my years of Technical experience to serve our Honda Customers in the best manner possible. I reside near Elizabethtown with my wife and 3 children; with whom I treasure spending time with. My hobbies these day consist of whatever my children are into and working outside around our house. I currently serve on the Occupational Advisory Committee for the automotive technician and the automotive mechanics programs at the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. I have also been serving on the committee for the PAA automotive competition for the past 13 years. I have held both sales and finance positions here at Jones and you can currently find me in the Honda Parts. When I am not at work I enjoy attending concerts, cheering on my favorite teams (Chicago Bears, Phillies and the Celtics), spending time with my friends and family, and yes, I still love to cook. I was born in Lancaster in 1967. I am the youngest of 3 children. My automotive career began upon the enrollment in the auto mechanics program at the Willow Street Vocational School. Prior to my graduation in 1985, I placed 2nd with my teammate in the Plymouth AAA trouble shooting contest. My employment began at Jones in 1987 as a technician in the GM service department. Before my advancement to a service adviser in 1989, I became an ASE certified master automobile technician. In 1991 I had the opportunity to become the Body Shop Manager. I completed my auto estimatics training at Vale National training center in December of 1991. In the following years I have become ASE certified in collision repair/refinishing. I am currently certified thru the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair. I have continued my training thru NADA, PPG, DuPont, and Masters School of Autobody Management. In 1986, I worked in Honda parts as a counter salesperson for 13 years. Then in 1998, I completed my automobile estimating training at Vale National and began working at the Body Shop. While growing up in Manheim, I have always been fascinated by anything that has wheels but my love for the automobile started with the freedom of driving. Quickly I found, or made excuses to tinker on any and every vehicle I could get my hands on. My formal education in automotive service started my senior year in high school at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in Willow Street. While still in High School I started my career with the Jones Family of Dealerships in December 2000 as a service technician in our GM service department. After finishing school I continued my education in General Motors Automotive Service Program and spent five years as a service technician, and another six years as a service advisor. Expanding my knowledge to all fields of the automotive industry I made the move to the body shop in March of 2011 and am now estimating automotive collision damage. I live in Millersville with my wife and two children and look forward to many more years at the Jones Family of Dealerships and any new opportunity that may come along with it.
